Dysport® at Align
Dysport® is a popular neuromodulator with fast results. Out of all the neuromodulators, it kicks in the fastest! Within 2-3 days after your treatment you will notice it starting to work.
Many patients report results from Dysport® lasting a little longer then the other neuromodulators. So, longevity combined with fast results makes it a popular choice at Align.
Dysport is also Brittanee’s favorite to use for anti-wrinkle treatment.
Xeomin® at Align
Xeomin® (pr. z-o-min) is “Botox®” in its most natural form. Xeomin® does not have all of the additional accessory proteins (additives) in it when compared to the other neuromodulators. One of the greatest benefits to Xeomin® is that because it does not have any extra additives in it, you cannot build up a tolerance to it like you can with the other neuromodulators.

Answers Our Most Common FAQs
Will I see results the same day?
Neuromodulator results are not immediate. You should start to notice changes anywhere from day 3 to day 7 post-treatment. From there on the neuromodulator will continue kicking in and working more and more up until about day 14 post-treatment. After day 14, you are left with your ‘final result.’ See the note below on 2-week follow up appointments. Patients typically come in every 3 months to get more neuromodulator injections to maintain their anti-wrinkle results.
Will I look "expressionless"?
You can, but you certainly don’t have to! Achieving the results you want is easy to do when you’re working with an experienced professional. Someone who is not experienced, may over inject, giving you that expressionless look for months. If this is something you’re concerned about, mention it at your consultation and we will be sure to adjust your plan accordingly!
How long do these last?
Botox®, Dysport® and Xeomin® all generally last around last 3-4 months. As mentioned above, some clients find that Dysport® lasts the longest of the three.
Why should I choose Align for my Botox® or filler?
Neuromodulators like Botox®, Xeomin® and Dysport®, require dosing. Since every person is different, there is no one ‘set’ number of units. The only way to know how many units you will need specifically, is to get a consultation from a trained professional. At Align, that’s our nurse practitioner and owner, Brittanee. When you come in for a consultation with her, she’ll assess your facial muscles and determine how many units you will need. Also, because neuromodulators are prescription medications, only physicians, physician’s assistants, and nurse practitioners are supposed to work with them. At some spas, this does not happen. Unqualified injectors perform injections under a Medical Director’s supervision, however, you may never actually see the Medical Director which means you’re taking a chance with the results you’ll get!
